The JCF established a strategic partnership with the University of Cambridge in 2017, focusing on capacity-building in medical research and education. The partnership established two Jeffrey Cheah Professorial Fellowships at Gonville & Caius College, supporting Cambridge professors in perpetuity. The partnership also includes collaborative research and teaching in life sciences, and the establishment of the Sunway Clinical Research Centre as a regional partner of Cambridge's School of Clinical Medicine, further advancing medical expertise in Malaysia.
